Leanne Howell Laney has lived in Cherokee County nearly her entire life. She was born and raised in Centre by her wonderful parents, the late Rex and Shirley Howell. She is a graduate of Cherokee County High School and Gadsden State Community College with an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies . She worked for 16 years in the hosiery mill industry, where she met her best friend and now, husband, Heath Laney. They married in 1999 and were blessed in 2002 with a son named Ethan. Leanne has been in real estate full-time since April of 2017. She is a Licensed Real Estate Agent as well as an Associate Broker in the State of Alabama, a Graduate, REALTOR® Institute, and has earned many designations and certifications such as e-PRO®, C2EX, and AHWD. Leanne was a 2018 recipient of the Wayne O'Neal Spirit Award and is a Lifetime Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club Member.
